Founded over 35 years ago by cattle farmer Ben Creese, Country Butchers began as a small family farm before growing into a respected butchery supplying locally reared, high-quality meat to the community. As demand increased, the business expanded into catering for schools, colleges, and major sporting venues, even providing beef for the Royal Box at Cheltenham Festival Gold Cup Day. Today, under Managing Director Paul—who first joined as an apprentice in 2007—Country Butchers continues its tradition of quality and care, now partnering with Mudwalls Food Group to bring premium, locally sourced British meat to a wider customer base while keeping food miles low.
